So last week - right before I left on vacation, and yes, I shouldn't be posting now - I gave a presentation to the Chicago ColdFusion User Group on my thoughts on how to improve your skills at JavaScript. It is a topic I'm pretty interested in and I think the presentation is a good one. However, Adobe Connect kept crapping out on me. I don't know if that was Connect's fault or my laptop, but, it caused problems. I believe the recording is still worthwhile though so I encourage you to check it out and let me know what you think:

Tried to watch but the audio was driving me nuts. Maybe try a different mic next time or at least check & adjust the gain?
I actually have a real good mic. The issue was Connect afaik. I'm considering giving it again soon via Google Hangouts.
I especially appreciated the last slide.
That makes more sense. I figured with all the presentations you have done you probably have a good mic and know how to set it up. :-)
