Slides + Code from CFUNITED10

This post is more than 2 years old.

Sorry for the delay on posting this - but here are the slides and code from my presentation. I hope folks enjoyed it. As I say all the time, my AIR experience tends to come and go as I play with it. I absolutely love the framework and wish I could build more with it. My entire reason for picking this particular topic (HTML AIR development) was an excuse to get my experience with it. And it worked well too - I learned a heck of a lot! The only thing not surprising to me was how well jQuery worked for AIR development. I knew it would be a great tool for AIR.

If folks would like, I can take some of the example code and write individual blog entries about them (what they do, how they do it, etc). Would this be of interest to yall?

Thought presentation was great. Would love to see more examples - specifically sqlLite and offline sync.

I would agree with Daniel, I think that having more examples would be a big help to those of us who are starting to develop AIR apps.

I've "kinda" begun.

Next post will demo making a project in Aptana. Then I'll start talking about the various demos I built.
