Speaking at Scotch on the Rocks 2010

This post is more than 2 years old.

I'm very happy to announce that I'll be speaking at this years Scotch on the Rocks conference in London. This will be my first Scotch and I'm pretty darn excited to be invited. I'll be speaking on ColdFusion Builder (looks like my session topic isn't listed yet) and how you can use and write extensions. Buy your tickets now!

Great news! I'll be in attendance and can't wait to see your presentation. I'm guessing you'll be there for both days?

Yep, and I may be sticking around Europe for a few additional days. I've heard you guys have good beer - but I don't believe that. Everyone knows that Americans do the best beer.

lol, that'll be the English beer you're knocking then. Good thing I'm from Wales which is just next door to them, or my feelings would be hurt ;-)

Plus don't try your Jedi mind tricks on us so we'll just buy you beer to change your mind.

Heh. I've been to Europe before (Paris, Belgium, London, back in 99), and I have to say - the way different countries put each other down... is a bit weird. I think Americans are maybe a bit too overly PC. Remind me to tell you the German/English joke a coworker told me.

Bit of a misnomer now. It was nice when we used to have a conference in Scotland. Won't be making the trip down South.
