A few days ago I wrote up a script to generate the top ten blog articles from 2007. I was a bit surprised to see they were actually all on topic!
I then followed this up with a word count, based on my blog article here:
Counting Word Instances in a String. I modified the code a bit to ignore any word that I thought was a bit too common, like "the", and then generated a report of all words that had more then 250 instances. Yes, this is a complete waste of time, but it was fun (for me) nonetheless.
