(Mostly) Out of Office - Happy Mardi Gras!

This post is more than 2 years old.

As the title says, I'll be mostly out of the office today. It's Mardi Gras and I hope to be spending a lot of time at the parades catching some cheap gaudy beads.

Please, for humanity's sake Ray, do NOT flash your nipples! No one wants to see that!

LOL! Enjoy your day bud!

I am new to blogging and may be abusing etiquette here. I want to post a question about CFMX 6.1/7MX architecture. Why does the architecture promote running multiple instances of CFMX/JRUN4 to isolate applications? Oracle Application Server 10g is able to run multiple JAVA applications which don't clobber each other when processes go awry. Since CFMX is just another JAVA application can I not isolate applications on one single installation of JRUN4?

Thank you for any responses you might have.
