Pretty impressive I think. I've been slowly rolling out updates to help improve the site, both in features and bug fixes. Look for search to get added this week. (I know, it should have been there at launch!) Also, check out this excellent blog post by Peter Bell. It helps you set up your project to use Subversion with RIAForge. It is excellent for those who are new to Subversion and need a little help. (Peter, I may "innovate" that help into the site. Thanks!)

Hi Ray,
Feel free to use the post, but to be fair it is mainly just a link to Brian Rinaldi's excellent post on getting started with Subclipse. He was the one who did all the heavy lifting - thanks Brian!!!
I haven't delved into the site yet, and perhaps should do so before asking this question...
I see there is a spot for Flash and Flex projects.
Can projects be categorized as both Flash / Flex.
Or is there going to be a spot for ActionScript-specific projects, which could be used equally in Flex or Flash.
Right now you can only pick one cat - but N cats will be available eventually. I'd just ask you pick one for now. Not sure if we will have an AS specific category. I'd probably suggest using Flash for AS projects.
The project I'm considering is an ActionScript 3 port of an ActionScript 2 library.
Assuming I ever get to the point of moving it forward, I'm leaning towards Flex. ( Since all my examples are Flex-specific )
Getting some problems with registering my project:
"Please correct the following errors:
The URL name must not be blank and can only contain letters and numbers."
I've even put "none" in all the blank fields.
Ahhh, but it also says "Thank you for sharing your project with RIAForge. Your project will be reviewed and available to the public once approved. Note that you are not allowed to upload files until your project is approved."
So, I guess it got through a million times by now?
Sorry, wanted to post again to subscribe. I thought it was checked by default.
Anyway, my apologies for submitting my project 1000 times.
Sam, please email me directly. I'm ray, at, camdenfamily dot com.
