Today I released version 1.6.1 of Galleon Forums. The changes are:
- In the past, subscription emails simply told users that a thread they have subscribed to has been updated. Now you have the option to send the actual message along as well. This is better for users. However - if you primary motivation is to drive traffic to the site, you want to keep this option turned off.
- I had restricted names of conferences, forums, threads, and messages to a small number. Some were 50, some 100. Now they are all 255 long. I wouldn't recommend creating a conference name that long, but if you want to, you can.
Enjoy.

I'm wondering if Galleon is built on a particular framework?
Nope. I can say Rob Gonda has sent me some nice code examples of where I can improve Galleon by making use of ColdSpring. I am very impressed by what he has shown me and I'm hoping to use it.
Good Beginner board, can be better if you can add more color like a header with a logo or something (gonna try and find out how to do it) can if you were to really up the overall goodness of the board then you may make money of this, good board still prefer PHP tho, ill get used to coldfusion tho :D . if you can email me how to make a header on the forum (may help not me not to search almost every website to manage it)ive got it running,(just) now to mod the hell out of this :D
good work ray
Check the templates folder. It should be really simple.
i found it, but i cant seem to add a login box for the main page(in the header), may come in useful if i could add it, and is the header a fixed size? or is it automaticlly ajustable for whats in it? thanks, would be better if you can email me on lewisferguson_011[AT]msn[DOT]com
replacing [AT] with @ and [DOT] with . thanks ray
Sorry for the dleay. Is the header a fixed size? Yeah - but you can totally change the layout to whatever you want. That's the point of the templates.
