BlogCFC is not running off of its own application.cfm, it is sharing all session info with my main site application. (only users who are logged in are allowed to comment and each user has his/her own blog on the site) It is technically only one blog, but each user has a category designated to him/her. Can view the blog by user or all at once, with RSS feeds for each option. Related Entries is limited to the current user's past entries or any of the three blogs at the site that I control. Two websites using BlogCFC:

The site for all travel to and fun in Vermont

Local ride-share website for the Connecticut River Valley area.

Love the new version!

Wishlist Items:

Externalize the auth scheme into an include/cfc that can be either replaced or rewritten to embed existing site auth schemes. Individualize the auth vars to be more specific to BlogCFC, ie; not using "session.loggedin" because that may already be in use, and instead use "session.blogcfc.loggedin" etc.

For install, add table prefix to site settings so all blog tables can be properly segregated if installing into existing site DB, ie; "tblBlogCFC_". Allow for use of existing [user] table in DB and indicate what fields to check against if BlogCFC auth scheme will be used. If not, BlogCFC user table should conform to the same prefix as other tables.

Keep it up. It rocks.

My blog doesn't focus on anything in particular and I don't post very often because my bilingual sites keep me busy. The blog mostly rants about various unrelated and disparate subjects, which I write in English only.

I am, however, very grateful to Ray for providing this great tool and excellent support. If I were a serious blogger, I would be using it a lot more and would not even think of trying another one.

Ray, I hope we can meet one of these days and have a couple of cold ones.

Well I use blogcfc as commerce weblog for both my personal nutritionist practice, the company of my wife http://blog.pasioingredient... and my personal political - economical orientated philosophies

Have used WordPress before but this piece is the one I understand in terms of how to skin it and how it works, so it's my Mecano / Lego box if you will and I am happy to donate

The blog name (for now but most likely will stick) is Queries of a Coder.
A site devoted to me and my ramblings but mostly an excuse to get back into writing.

Darwin's Lord Mayor has a BlogCFC blog - not particularly well updated as he's fricken busy, but it's there =)

That's cool - but what is a Lord Mayor?

Hi Ray,

You might remember me from my day job at PAR Technology Corporation as I've submitted many CF problems to you in the past. Anyway, my wife owns a quilt shop, Tiger Lily Quilt Co, and I of course do her web stuff. She wanted a blog so I gave her one a few months ago, BlogCFC.

This her blog: http://www.tigerlilyquiltco...

Donna's Blog is about things that happen in her quilt shop.
