Random Boring Stuff

This post is more than 2 years old.

So, this past week our dining room finally came to an end. (The only thing not done is the window treatments.) Since we moved in we have changed the walls (including sanding the walls to prepare it for new wallpaper) and ripped out the carpet and had new floors installed. Last week the floors wrapped up and our new dining room table showed up. Here is the room as it was when we moved in:

And here is two shots of it after everything was wrapped up. (And after our Christmas party this weekend.)

Er, don't put wallpaper back up. It's so...

Choose a nice colour and paint it instead to brighten the room up. It looks very dark.

Nah, my wife and I love the red wallpaper we picked out. You can't tell by the pics, but the design on it is VERY nice.

Yeah, I dig the red, too.. and flooring is ridiculous! (good) Approx how much did the floor cost? Consider swapping out the chandelier, too?

Flooring was around 3k total I think - for installation and materials, which isn't bad considering the size of the room. You can't really tell by the pics but the room is very large, 300+ square feet.
