Another Flash Launches Tonight

Tonight, at 8 Central, is the launch of the new Flash Gordon on the Sci Fi channel. I've got hopes for this one. The Battlestar Galatica relaunch was superb, so I think one could have a chance as well, especially if they keep some of the "camp" from the movie. (And yes, I'm about to load the Queen song now.)

Yeah, I set the Tivo up to record it the other day. But I also noticed that other channels were carrying it. Most importantly one of them was carrying it in HD (so I set that one to record).

Not sure if the other channels are airing the same day/time, but I'd rather check it out in HD if available. Why Sci-Fi still hasn't gone HD, I don't know (I'm sure there are legitimate reasons, but still... why?).
THANKS - seriously would have missed this.
the premier is also available for free on iTunes
I'll pass. Everytime I start to enjoy a sci-fi show they cancel it (Farscape, SG1, Battlestar, Dresden). If Flassh's numbers aren't through the roof, then sci-fi will fade it out and produce more D tv movies.
While I will watch a few more episodes, I was _really_ disappointed. It sucked - big time.
I recorded Flash but haven't found time to watch it yet...I'm cruising through Babylon 5 for the first time (mid season 3 right now).

@Matt: SG1 lasted 10 seasons!
Would you believe I never watched Babylon 5 or SG? (I did see the SG movie.) I need to add Bablyon 5 to my wish list. Catching up on DVDs is excellent while doing my morning treadmill.
It was bad. :) Friend of mine mentioned that the show isn't based off the old movie, but the old comics back in the day. Regardless, it wasn't good. :)

Couldn't agree more. It was so bad that my wife left the room and wouldn't finish watching it with me (she likes these kind of shows more than me, if they're good).
Sorry to hear it sucked guys.

@Ray: Babylon 5 is a good series to delve into. The show wasn't going to be renewed for the 5th season, so Season 1-4 built up to a good finale.

@Jeremy: No reason SG-1 couldn't go a few more. RDA needed to stay around. Dr. Who has continually evolved and stayed around. Oh well!
