Battlestar Galactica to continue...

Batllestar Galactica (also known as the best show on tv) was recently rumored to be ending its run after the 4th season. Now Sci Fi Wire is reporting otherwise. Not only is the 4th season not the last (well, not now anyway), but the original report had said that there would only be 13 episodes. Now they are saying it will be a full 22.

Season 3 was absolutely amazing, and frankly I'm surprised it didn't get more press than it did, especially with the 'pro suicide bomber' thread in the beginning. It fit well in the story but considering todays political climate it was a pretty gutsy call to make. The ending of season 3 was also pretty darn good. I've watched the last 5 minutes about, oh, 15 times now.

	Hooray! Still bugs me that it's not coming back until 2008 though. It's a great series, that's for sure, although I didn't much care for the episodes on new caprica.

	How funny -- I've re-watched the last five minutes about a dozen times myself. I'm looking forward to getting the original Watchtower track from iTunes when the soundtrack comes out. I just turned a few friends onto BG and they're just obsessed with it now. They're a few eps into season 1 on Netflix. ColdFusion and Battlestar -- my kind of blog. Thanks Ray.

	Ray, That was a roumor started by ACIN. AICN is notorious for spreading incorrect information, and they get caught doing it all the time. They routinely quote "untested sources", as is the case here, and post pictures of spoiler movie posters that turn out to be nothing more than fan art, stuff like that.

	Well, to be fair to them, it is probably hard to maintain such a site and keep it at 100% integrity level. If that makes sense. As an aside, I have plans to launch a new blog just for TV/movie/geek stuff. I just haven't gotten around to launching it yet.

	Battlestar rocks. Anyone know if SciFi channel plans to air the last season again? I missed the last 2 episodes.

	Well, they said it wouldn't be until 2008. I'm hoping EARLY 2008, like a January premier. It will definately not be on this fall.
