Help spread the word at the People's Toolbox

So about a week or so ago I discovered thePeoplesToolbox - a cool site built to aggregate listings of tools for various languages. A darn good idea I say.

I contacted the owners of the site to get them to add ColdFusion, but, apparently they had never heard of it, and I'm having a bit of trouble convincing them that a) lots of people use ColdFusion and b) that it is indeed worth adding to their site.

Folks - help me out here - and help ColdFusion. Please contact the site (POLITELY!!) using the email address on the About page. I'll stress it again - be polite. Just share what you know about the numbers of developers, organizations, etc, using ColdFusion. This is their main concern about adding CF - they want to see some numbers around the number of developers.

Why am I doing this? Every time I see a site that lists programming languages and leaves off ColdFusion turns me into Super Evangelist. I never want to see a list of languages that doesn't include ColdFusion!

I emailed them I also mentioned Flex you can't list Flash and not list Flex.
Added a request for both CFML and FLEX
I suggested that they add CF and Flex.
As one of Ray's faithful readers, I am offended that he felt the need to ask us more than once to be polite. Like I am ever impolite.

Well, there was that one time in Denver, but I am not allowed to discuss details/
Looks like a nice tool to.

I sent them a heart warming letter about leaving all us poor CFers out in the cold.

Wow, just peachy. More proof that ALOT needs more to be done to get the CF word out. And then people wonder why I'm so vocal about Adobe's (& MM before it) lack of attention to CF.

I'll send them a note myself Ray. Good catch.
Request sent.... I was going to do a big speech on how CF is the primary tech for building internal web apps at eBay, but figured I'll see what he responds with.
Don't forget, MySpace is written in ColdFusion / Fusebox.
@Mik:

Feel free to submit any CF sites to http://www.gotcfm.com/.

I'm starting to compile a list of resources to promote CF.
Shot and email off to them also.

Thanks
Well it doesn't help in that in the old style media - books - there are only 2 books for CFMX7 that have been published! Go to any CS section of a book store and one can find tons of books on php, perl, .net, python, etc.. where are the CF books that are current?
The market for computer books did drop a bit, so CF got hurt along with the other languages. I'm hoping that will turn around soon.
Just revisited thePeoplesToolbox and coldfusion is now an option.
