Ok, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I think anyone would be lucky to live and work in Lafayette, Louisiana. There's a festival every 5 days. Pleasant weather (triple digits means three times the fun), affordable cost of living, minimal gator attacks. Oh, and fiber to the home. (50 bucks a month for 40 Mbps up and down!) Web Developer

Job Description Apex Innovations is a team of hard working professionals committed to a high level of personal excellence who provide exceptional, high quality, web-based interactive educational products for medical professionals. We have an immediate need for a Web / Flash Developer to create and build next generation web-based applications and content for our customers. You will enjoy working within a creative company with a nationally recognized reputation for superior work. We are located in south Lafayette.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, time management and project management skills a must
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical peers
  • Value teamwork, aptitude and creative problem solving
  • Possesses a "can do" attitude.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in:

  • Flash design and animation
  • ActionScript 3
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript

You must also have a strong knowledge in:

  • The LAMP Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • Cross-browser & Cross-platform development
  • Basic design and layout

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • The Adobe Creative Suite
  • CorelDraw
  • Web graphics optimization
  • W3C Compliance Conventions
